Today, I'm skipping my workout.

Today, I'm skipping my workout. My back has been in pain for a LONG time and today it's only starting to feel better, thanks to a hot bath, some Ben Gay, tylenol, and a heating pad.

THANK GOD. Maybe now I can sleep again.

So, I didnt post on

So, I didnt post on Monday, when I moved up my workout. We started doing basic rehab on my shoulders, since they werent really doing well at all. Then, dummy that I am, I lifted and moved two desks by myself on Tuesday, followed by 3 hours in a Geo Metro, and sleep on the floor, and another 3 hours in the Metro, with an already tender back... Meaning I've been in excruciating pain.

Today was a good workout, just the same. Thankfully, not any back exercises. And I did 10 minutes on the treadmill as a warmup! Progress!

Getting soft again... don't know

Getting soft again... don't know what's up. My trainer thinks I'm losing weight, but I checked, and if anything, I've gained. Going to start keeping accountable with Robey - he and I both have trouble getting motivated to do abs.

So, about those photos...



I promised. Now delivered. For some reason my pecs are LOSING definition and I'm NOT HAPPY at all.

Eating better, daily. Compliments all last weekend on how I looked, from family and old friends... And again from Ray when he was here.

Less treadmill yesterday, since I

Less treadmill yesterday, since I was running late. Back, shoulders, and biceps. Pretty standard fare. I've been SO HUNGRY lately, but cutting back on my portions and watching fat levels more. I'm seeing changes, but I have to keep telling myself to be patient. Oh, and Sparky and Jessie can rest assured, the photos are coming soon... I already took them this weekend.

My cold is almost gone,

My cold is almost gone, so I was able to breathe better this time, and I hit the treadmill again, faster and longer than before. I'm slowly working up to a full, fast 15 minutes. Hadn't done chest and shoulders for a while, so I was feeling out of shape, but struggled through. It's taking awhile for me to notice things, but overall, I'm pleased.

More treadmill today, and I

More treadmill today, and I managed to push it up a couple notches... and still felt fine. A NICE warmup. Today was back and arms day, since I missed last Tuesday. I've finally lost my aggravation with my abs (at least for now) and accepted the fact that it will be a slow and steady process. I also looked at my arms today in the mirror and said "Where the HELL did THOSE come from?"

Told my trainer I want to reevaluate. See body fat numbers again, and dimensions, and see where I can use improvement. I want to keep building what I have been, but I think it's time to add some new stuff too.

Did you know I started this at the end of MAY??? Wow.

Time to start more life modifications. Diet, cardio, lower body. Just in time for winter.

Err... Tuesday's workout was fast

Err... Tuesday's workout was fast and furious, but not too strenuous, since I was on the edge of this really bad cold I have right now. So, in addition, yesterday's workout was cancelled, and I'm losing momentum fast.

And then (drumroll please) I saw Sparky's "gut" and Jessie's "gut" and along with my own self-loathing, I've gotten more motivation than ever. Having people in the same boat as you, striving to better themselves is a big help.

Nala's starting soon too, I think.
